Operating system
The bottom frame of the Grand Slider II doors incorporates the operating mechanism of the system. This mechanism is made up of a double tandem, stainless steel-sealed bearing carriage, which is capped with polyamide to prevent any wear to the track.
The running gear wheels run proud from the base of the track to ensure that the operation of the doors is not hampered or compromised by leaves, stones or debris that fall into the track.
To ensure smooth operation we use additional carriages on each panel if the weight of the doors exceeds 200kg. These carriages run on a stainless steel guide rail and we include a hard-wearing threshold cover plate to protect the track from damage. This heavy-duty operating system guarantees effortless and smooth operation that ensures the doors operate exactly as they are designed to, time after time, year after year.
