Refurbishment and extension of mid-terrace Victorian house in Cambridge

The refurbishment and extension of this Victorian mid-terrace house transformed it into a modern family home while preserving its period character. Designed by Ashworth Parkes Architects, the rear extension features a spacious kitchen and combined dining and family area. The loft was converted with a new en-suite and bifold windows offering stunning views. A wildflower green roof and butterfly roof with clerestory windows enhance natural light. The design blends Victorian charm with contemporary elements, including reclaimed brickwork and zinc cladding.
